HOW TO GET FREE BOOKS:
1. BUY 10 ITEMS. THE 11TH IS FREE. There's no need to buy all 10 at once, but we may need a reminder when we owe you a free item. So it is helpful if the client company or school maintains a file of original or photocopied past order forms, showing past purchases. Such copies must, however, be turned in to Pat Answers staff, in exchange for the free item, at time of delivery. Only Pat Answers order forms, and those of our predecessor, Otto "Pete" Harmon / Books Plus are valid. Pat Answers also keeps track of past orders, and checks totals when possible. We do not have access to past Books Plus files, but will honor previously unredeemed Books Plus and Pat Answers order forms - including those from before owner Pat Quance's 2005 leave of absence from the business. Offer expires if Pat Answers changes ownership, or if our book supplier re-assigns your account to a non-Pat Answers representative, but purchases my be accrued year-to-year otherwise.
MARCH, 2007 UPDATE: FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE, WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF DEVELOPING A PUNCHED (STAMPED, actually) CARD SYSTEM, to keep track of all your purchases from PAT ANSWERS. Current goal is to distribute the cards on our April, 2007 visit.
2. REFERRAL BONUS: RECOMEND US TO SOMEONE. WHEN THEY BUY THEIR FIRST ITEM, YOU GET A FREE CURRENT OR FUTURE ITEM OF YOUR CHOICE.
In either case, client may select any item priced $20 or below as a free item, provided it is currently in stock. Who selects and receives free items is up to the client company or school. Referral bonus items are awarded to the person who made the referral, of course. Otherwise, quite often, a free item for a school will be a donation to the school library, of such item as the administration chooses. Some companies have a drawing for the free item. If just 2 or 3 employees of a company are frequent purchasers, some clients allow them to take turns, as to who receives the free item. If no designation is made, Pat Answers usually gives a free item of your choice to the receptionist, the keeper of the past order forms file, or to whomever is our main contact person, on sample placement and delivery days - trusting that the employer recognizes the immense value of these people, their service, and the well-deserved internal motivation that this small token can produce.
